Exploring The Yoga Sutras: The Niyamas
The 8-limbs of yoga are first shared in The Yoga Sutras of Patanjali. The Niyamas are the second in the 8-fold path of yoga. However, they are not often discussed in a modern yoga class. Niyama, known as internal restraints and observances, are five of the greatest tools for any yoga practitioner. This workshop will contemplate Pantanjali's meaning of the niyamas and how we can honor them in our daily practice and life. Bring a journal. Come ready to listen and share in conversation, asana, pranayama, and meditation.
