Joy of Yoga Book Club
Join us for a unique gathering that invites yoga students to take their practice beyond the mat. These special classes blend the ancient traditions of yoga and meditation with the transformative power of literature, offering a deeper exploration of both body and mind.
In this series, we’ll dive into The Four Agreements, a spiritual guide rooted in ancient Toltec wisdom. This book inspires us to live with greater freedom, love, and authenticity by embracing four simple yet profound agreements. Together, we’ll uncover how these principles can help us lead more mindful, peaceful, and fulfilling lives.
Each 60-minute session will include:
30 minutes of gentle yoga to ground and connect with your body.
A short guided meditation related to the teachings of the book, creating a space for quiet reflection.
20 minutes of group discussion, where we’ll share our personal insights and experiences from the readings.
This is an opportunity to connect with others while exploring how these agreements resonate with your own life. Whether it’s your first time reading the book or you’re revisiting its wisdom, you’ll find a welcoming space for personal growth and meaningful conversation.
No need to worry about keeping pace—each class stands alone as a session of self-care and self-study. You can read at your own pace or simply come to absorb the teachings in class. Reading the book is not required to participate and enjoy the experience.
Whether you’re new to yoga or a seasoned practitioner, this book club offers a supportive space for your mind and spirit to grow. Let’s journey together through texts that elevate our understanding of ourselves and the world around us.
Come deepen your practice in a new way—on and off the mat!
