The Tantric Upanishads describe humans as having five koshas, or sheaths of being: we are not one self, but many selves. We contain multitudes. While the past year has brought much challenge, doubt, and fear when it comes to our identities, we can learn to reconnect to the vitality and spirit of our full selves by studying our koshas.
Because of the immense distraction caused by our plugged-in lifestyle, it is common for us to struggle to bring awareness to or find meaning in our subtle bodies. Gentle and restorative yoga, pranayama, visualization, and guided relaxation can bring us into a more embodied state, able to discern internal wisdom more clearly than ever.
This series will support you in calming and connecting to each kosha, bringing you closer to realizing and expressing your whole self.
