In a world that is increasingly artificial, holding what is natural feels soothing, grounding, and healing. Holding a basalt stone is holding a piece of history—a cooled and polished piece of volcanic lava born of the forges of Mother Earth. Touching that stable prana can allow us to feel deeply relaxed and in tune with natural cycles like seasonal change.
In this unique 75-minute practice, we’ll connect to the weighted and stable energy of these stones as an antidote to the rushing and busyness of summertime. Facilitator, Alicia Delaney, will infuse stones of all sizes with calming Reiki. While participants rest in Restorative poses, the stones will be placed along major pranic centers of the body to facilitate feelings of well-being and ease. All participants will be gifted a third-eye chakra basalt stone for continued relaxation at home.
