Your hips and back ache, your calves are all knotted up and your feet are killing you. You’re constantly fidgeting when sitting down and can never seem to get comfortable. Aleve, aspirin and ibuprofen no longer seem to help and no matter how many times you see your chiropractor the relief is never lasting. People tell you that you should stretch but those yoga poses look almost as painful as you feel.
If this is where you are, then perhaps this offering is what you’re looking for.
This 2-hour workshop is geared towards folks who sit all day, work on their feet all day and experience constant tightness/discomfort in and around the lower body. You’ll be guided through self-massage exercises with massage therapy balls and gentle yoga stretches with modifications offered for those who don’t feel at home in traditional yoga shapes. This class will be gentle with yin elements as we invite the body to relax and find the spaces where relief lies.
There will not be any traditional vinyasa flow or yoga burpees (sun salutes).
All experience levels are invited to come, connect to their body and breath, and find the ease that lies within.
