Slow Down, Reconnect and Renew. Celebrate Winter with a fresh perspective on the season while enjoying a slow, deep restorative yoga practice, guided meditation and singing bowls.
If those 2 words (celebrate and winter) seem incompatible, this practice is especially for you! If you're already a fan of the season, you'll leave with even more reasons to celebrate. And what better time to slow down and reconnect than right in the midst of the holiday season? Sometimes, taking time out for you, is the most productive thing you can do.
Winter Solstice marks the shortest day of the year. It symbolizes a turning toward the light as the daylight hours begin to increase. It is a celebration of the presence of Spirit and the power of faith and hope that the light will return and our visions for the future will come into being.
In Capricorn, the new moon’s energy is feminine, fruitful and earthy. This energy encourages the need for structure, discipline and organization. It’s no coincidence that a moon with this energy occurs this time of year. As we start to energize new dreams, visions, ways of seeing and moving through the world, we have the energy of the universe backing us up with structure and organization, a container for discernment helping us to make a plan, and put the appropriate steps into place.
